It's only SDSU but UCLA looked like a fast team all around and a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming season. Kevin Craft showed signs of brilliance, but he did make typical Freshman mistakes as he threw two interceptions and looked a little sluggish late in the third quarter. The good thing is they were up 33-14 by then and extended thier overall record against San Diego St 22-0-1.
The key though was an improved offensive line that opened the running game to 144 yards better than the 82 yard a game average they posted last year.
Defensively UCLA started of slow giving the Aztecs a 14-3 early lead. After that it was 0s across the board for three straight quarters. Rahim Moore led the team with a remarkable day intercepting three passes.
UCLA still needs to improve on some areas but for the most part I can see this young group going to a Bowl Game this season. Next Week they take on Tennessee in Knoxville so they will be tested in a big game in a big time stadium.
